Well as you may or may not know/care, we have been working frantically with the writing process as well as redesigning our HQ (not to be confused with the online HQ, which is a completely different thing!) but yeah so things are going good, we're getting new carpet put in and a paint job and what not. so things are pretty good. yeah.

Well tomorrow is the 4th of July, which is kind of cool. George Washington would be proud. We're working on a few promotional projects (including the army man project. More info on that later). Not much else going on besides that. Hopefully we'll be practiceing soon. There has been so much crazy stuff going on lately involving work and such as well as our practice space getting flooded. There has been a little technical difficulty lately with this web journal thingy, but I think that it's all good and working now. Well the Current Coffee House show was sure a blast. It was a bit of a treck, driving for 5 hours straight to get down there on time. Special thanks to Rob and Boyer for their support. They also made the trip down there and let us sleep on their floor. All in all it was a great experience and we all had a reall goo time. Hope you like the new site layout and what not. Peace- Matt Z

1983 have recently returned from their secret tour. We played many shows all along the east coast at smaller venues to test out some of our newer material. We played with a lot of great bands and we hope to have a new fan or two even though it is highly unlikely. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us and don't worry if you missed the shows, there are many more to come.

Naw didn't go to VI today but what if i did? We all got about a month and some left of school. Can't wait for summer... Matt Z

Well, things are going well for the 1983 boys. We're all working hard at college. There are a couple of new songs that are being worked on. These include "Dirty Dirty Dirtoony", "Emily", "Work in progress", and  "Mikey Ratface".

Work on  the new site will keep on chugging along. Hopefully there will be many fun things to come, such as a weekly poll... and hopefully more ideas will come along. Maybe a weekly comic or soemthing. I don't really know.
